5 Amazing Facts about Charlton Heston!

1) During the making of the cult classic 'The Omega Man', (better than the Will Smith one BTW), in order to get that deserted city look, Chuck actually went round every single house in New York and kindly asked everyone to leave. They did.
2) Chuck was buried in a T shaped coffin to accomodate the rifle he was holding above his head (yes that's right, they couldn't get it out of his cold dead hands)
3) The film 'El Cid' was actually based upon the life of Pink Floyd member Sid Barrett
4) Soylent Green wasn't people, it was actually a lovely full english breakfast, that Chuck wanted to keep to himself so he just spreaded that rumour to put the rest of the cast off
5) Charlton Heston appeared in the remake of Planet of the Apes, this was the first recorded case of someone being glad they had alzheimers.
